∞ Cat Lover ∞

Oh, cats. I can't separate my childhood from the memories of them. I had many, but particularly one stands out, an orange striped one called Carotina (meaning little carrot in Italian), and many who followed after her that I just kept naming the same. (I was a child, don't judge.) Then there was Simba (yes, these were the years of The Lion King), and later as a young adult I adopted Chan, a lovely striped gray female who was being given away by a woman who'd just found out that the cat she'd found on the street was pregnant! Chan and I had some good years together, until I had to move abroad for my education and couldn't take her with me. This broke my heart, but I left her with a trusted friend who promised to love her like her own. My latest living experience with cats was two years ago with my flatmate-and-best-friend's duo, Flan and Otis.

I love cats because they are an introvert's best companion. They understand boundaries (most of the time, haha) and they can be extremely warm and loving without being needy or codependent. I love looking into their eyes, I love how each one has a different personality, I love petting them or simply watching them be. They simply make me happy.

P.S. I speak English, Spanish, Italian and French, but unfortunately my German is still so-so... Apologies for the inconvenience!

I have magical petting hands and most cats immediately jump into my lap. I say I used to be a cat in a past life. I'm great at reading a cat's need for space or cuddling. I make sure kitties have the attention and care they need, in whatever way they ask for it. I'm extremely tidy and clean and will make sure to leave the house impeccable.
