Cat Sitter in Munich / Katzensitterin in München
Hello! My name is Madeleine and I am a German/British cat lover currently living in Munich (Arnulfstr., near Donnersbergerbrücke). I speak fluent German and English and decent French, and am happy to cat sit in any of the 3 languages!
I moved to Munich from the UK in November 2024 and am currently looking for my next permanent job, so I thought it would be a great idea to look after some lovely local cats in the meantime (and earn a bit of pocket money, haha!). I've had great experiences with Cat in a Flat myself over the last few years whenever I've had to travel for work and leave the cat love of my life, Boo (a black kitty) at home, so now it's my time to repay the favour!
I've lived with cats since I was 10, when my parents got our first childhood pets Max and Leo, both ginger toms. You can see Leo in my profile pic - they were both such gentle creatures, and lived until the grand old age of 18!
In 2022 I decided to adopt my own cat, Boo, a black kitty, who despite turning 9 this year has the energy and temperament of a kitten.... She is incredibly chatty and food driven - she will do quite literally anything for a Dreamies treat!
I would love to have the opportunity to get to know even more lovely cats in the local area - spending time with our furry friends is just the best. Looking forward to your message! :)
I've cat-sitted for friends' cats in the past and have done a range of different 'services'. I can tailor each visit to whatever your cat needs or is used to.
Some examples: - Free in-house visit beforehand to get to know you and your kitty and understand its needs - Lots of pets and cuddles (provided your cat is OK with that! Also happy to just hang out at a distance if your kitty is a bit shy) - Feeding of wet or dry food, or both, topping up feeders etc. - Refreshing water bowls and water fountains - Cat litter tray scooping/cleaning - Playtime!
I am happy to administer tablet or liquid (food) medication if your cat is used to this, but I don't have experience with injections.
