Hello fellow Cat Lover,

I am Esther, 37 years old, German, based in Jericho, Oxford. I work as an academic at Oxford and Cambridge University as well as a Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer at several places in Oxford and Cambridge.

I originally started cat-sitting for a colleague and couldn't get enough of the cat-sitting. The cats loved me from the first second I arrived and my colleague never wanted anybody else sitting their cats any longer, as I did my job so well and loved it so much to look after those little feline and furry creatures. And I can proudly say that I have literally saved cats' lives when I looked after them (I am happy to tell you the long story if you are interested)! Since then, I have been enjoying cat-sitting around the Oxford area, have many regular clients, and am open to expand to other locations/ combine with house-sittings.

Unfortunately, I am not able to have a cat myself due to the nature of the apartment which I rent. That's why I would love to look after your cat/s, give them attention and make sure they cope well while you're away, stroke and cuddle them, have them sit on my lap if they wish, feed them and give them fresh and clean water, administer any medication they might need, let them in and out of the house (if needed/ no cat flap), and clean their litter boxes.

Due to the nature of my jobs (flexible working hours, remote working, etc.), I can easily pop in during the day to look after your cat/s. Happy to cover all areas around North Oxford and around Oxford City Centre, depending on location also Kidlington or South Oxford or the Botley area. I am open to house-sitting/ overnight stays anywhere.

Also happy to look after your other pet/s. (I had happy and healthy rodents myself in my teenage years and looked after a horse during my early adulthood.) Also happy to water any plants, collect mail, open and close curtains, etc., while you are away.
