EDIT: Dear cat owners: I am so overwhelmed by all the booking requests. Unfortunately, due to my visa permit I can only consider this as a mini job (the $400 or something treshold). This means that, unfortunately, I cannot accept those sitting jobs that pay more than that as it would raise a flag for my next permit. If in any case you would be willing to book for a shorter time through this app I have no problem on receiving PayPal (for everyone's security). Also, we moved, so now we can keep 1 kitty in our 2 bedroom apartment if you go on vacation and would like your babies to be with someone longer that 1-2 hrs a day. We live on the ground level, no cat net on the balcony - can adapt by request and with time; kitties would never go into the balcony and rooms are closed when airing; we've already had a cat here for 2 weeks and it went perfectly c: ).

I am an English teacher living in Berlin. I cannot have a cat yet because, first I would like to have a stable job (I work as a freelancer). I used to live with 3 cats (1 per sibling) until they moved out. Currently, my mom is living with the oldest one (Horacio, 11 years) who is a talkative, cuddle-and-attention seeker orange cat.

I enjoy playing and just spending time with them plus I know how to apply topic medication and administer pills (veeeery tricky). This is extra pocket money for doing something I enjoy. I don't mind getting love fur/hairs on my clothes as it's part of the job.

Not to brag, but excelent cat conversationalist (my oldest cat cannot be silenced as he grew up with me talking to him all the time) plus he loves being held and cuddled - once again, my upbringing.

Nevertheless, Horacio's partner, my sister's cat, Nina, was very protective of her space so I had to learn that other cats were just not that into personal space invasion as baby Horacio was.

I respect cat's unspoken boundaries, give them time to get to know me, smell me, as well as being able to understand their signals to give them space, play or just be near them. Will not fall into the trap and over feed them if they get anxious, specially when on a diet/just fed.

Basically, I will look after them as if they were your children and will follow every rule and guide you give me (it's never enough and you can never be too careful when explaining how you take care of a loved one to a stranger/new sitter). You can always call, ask for pictures, etc,: your peace of mind is my peace of mind.
