Hi there! I'm an American writer and editor who has been living in Munich for two years. I had to leave my cats back home with my mom, so I'm always looking for chances to get more cat love.

Animals and I tend to gravitate toward each other. People often tell me, "My pet never warms up to someone this quick!" I am such a cat lover that I carry a bag of cat treats with me in case I run into any cats in my travels.

Over my lifetime, I have taken in more pets than I should admit, 12 cats (not all at once!), 4 dogs, some frogs, one 15-year-old salamander, three iguanas, a couple of big snakes and 250 gallons of fish.

I love to garden and have been known to covertly weed neglected flower beds. I miss my garden nearly as much as my friends and family. Not as much as my cats though...
