Meawtastic sitter

My name is Dario and I come originally from Argentina. It's been 2 years since I moved here here with my wife. I'm a Software engineer mostly working from home and I can self manage my time. I really miss being around pets so that's why I joined this platform. On my profile Pic you can see Mandioca (aka mandi). We rescued her when she was just a few months old. She showed up on a window in the hospital my wife used to work at, so she took her home and been with us since then. We had to take the difficult decision of moving here but fortunately a childhood friend of mine moved to where I used to live and is taking care of her, periodically sending pictures. The silver lining is that she's still in her home where she feels comfortable and she seems really happy. Growing up I also lived with Lucy, a siamese cat who lived almost 15 years. We also lived with a German Shepard so seeing both of them sharing a home is one of the best childhood memories I have. A little bit more about me. I'm currently 35 years old, still trying to learn German and living with my wife who is currently going through the process of validating her medical degree to practice here. Before working in the IT world I used to be a Location Manager in the movie and ad industry...and before that, to pay for my studies, a piano teacher. So I could sing a few songs to you cats and maybe teach them some Spanish :D

I lived more than half of my life with cats. Growing up as a kid/teenager I can say that maybe I wasn't so helpful except occasionally cleaning the litter. But as a grownup and adopting a stray cat I went through the whole process of making (and keeping) her healthy, worry about which food she was taking, making sure that the hygiene of her litter box was top notch and understanding her moods and personality. That's what you would get from me. Not really doing it for the money, just want to make something productive out of the extra time...and what's best than sharing with cats?
