Hi, I’m Lea, a Berlin-based MFA student in Physical Theatre, and a lifelong animal lover.

I’ve been caring for cats since 2018, when I adopted my two rescue cats, Yaya and Bono. They are both mixed Chinese domestic cats, with very different personalities — and they taught me everything I know about patience, boundaries, and responsibility.

Yaya is independent and reserved. She likes to be respected and approached on her own terms, and I’ve learned how important it is to read subtle signals and give space. Bono, on the other hand, is extremely affectionate and follows me everywhere. Because he has a congenital medical condition, I care for him daily — including giving medication, cleaning, and monitoring his wellbeing.

Living with them was the first time I truly felt a sense of responsibility and “home”. I care for cats with the same attention and respect I give my own.

I offer in-home cat sitting and overnight stays, always prioritizing your cat’s routine and comfort. I understand that every cat is different — some want play and company, others simply want calm presence and consistency.

I have previous experience with home visits in China, and I know how important trust, responsibility, and clear boundaries are when caring for someone else’s pet and home. I also regularly use cat sitting services myself when I travel, so I understand both sides of the experience.

During visits or overnight stays, I take care of feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime (if welcomed), and medication if needed. I’m attentive, patient, and respectful of instructions, and I’m happy to send photo updates for peace of mind.

My goal is simple: for your cat to feel safe, understood, and cared for until you return.
