Ready to be your cat’s new friend

Hello! I’m Ayça, your cat’s potential new friend in Berlin.

I’m 26 years old and originally from Istanbul, where caring for cats is almost a way of life. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by cats, helping strays, feeding them, and looking after their health. When I moved to Berlin over two years ago to study for my master’s in mathematics, one of the things I missed most was the daily companionship and warmth of cats.

In Berlin, I work part-time as a barista, and I’m always happy to make time for spending moments with cats. I understand that leaving your furry friend behind when you travel or get busy isn’t easy, and I truly value the trust it takes to ask someone to take over their guardianship, even temporarily.

I’m more than happy to visit your cat at home, making sure they’re well-fed, played with, and given any simple medications they might need. I always do my best to keep things clean and comfortable for them, including taking care of their litter box, even when it’s a little extra stinky! If your cat is comfortable with change, I can also welcome them into my calm, cat-friendly home, where there are plenty of sunny spots and cozy corners for naps.

Most importantly, I approach every pet with kindness and respect, always aiming to give them the care and guardianship they deserve. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality—whether they’re playful and adventurous or prefer quiet company and gentle cuddles. I’d be happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your beloved cat is doing well while you’re away.
