Games, Care, and Daily Photo Reports

My name is Vera, I’m 38 and have been living in Berlin for the past three years after moving here from Moscow with my husband. For more than 10 years I worked in publishing — I love books, art, museums, and all kinds of creative projects.

Cats have always been part of my life. I grew up with them in my family, and my last cat Roman was a wonderful companion whom I loved dearly and still miss. Over the years I’ve read a lot and studied cat behavior to better understand them and make their lives happier.

I know how stressful it can be to leave your cat when you’re traveling. That’s why as a cat sitter I do everything I can to make sure you feel reassured and your cat feels comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions, spend quality time playing or cuddling (depending on what your cat prefers), and I’m patient with shy or cautious cats — usually it just takes a few days to build trust.

I can visit once or twice a day, staying from half an hour up to a few hours if needed. I’m also able to give medication (as long as the cat isn’t too aggressive). One of my “special talents” is inventing games and little toys to keep cats entertained, and I also enjoy taking photos and sending detailed daily reports about your cat’s day with photos and videos.
