Attentive Care — Because Every Cat Deserves to Be Understood

I'm Onur, a Master’s student in Bioscience at the University of Würzburg. I'm majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Cell and Developmental Biology. My research interests revolve around how molecular and cellular mechanisms influence neural development and function.

Beyond academic life, I've always had a deep connection with animals, especially cats. My best friend is Zeus, a one-eyed cat whose mother gave birth outdoors and who lost one eye to an infection when he was a kitten. I decided to adopt him, and we've shared an incredible journey ever since. Once shy, fragile, and afraid of almost everything, my son is now confident, mischievous, and a constant chatterbox. We truly understand each other.

While it wasn't easy to be away from my son for my studies, I know he understands why I'm here, and yes, he's allowed me to, because he knows one day he'll be rewarded with an endless supply of fresh wet food.

Thanks to my veterinarian friends, I've gained some practical knowledge about pet care. I can do basic procedures like vaccinations for cats and dogs, but since I don't have an official certificate, I only do this for my own cat.

As someone who has lived with and cared for animals for many years — including my own rescued cat, Zeus — I understand that every pet has its own personality, fears, and needs. My approach is calm, patient, and rooted in trust-building, especially with sensitive or shy cats.

During a booking, I provide attentive and compassionate care to ensure your cat feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I can assist with feeding, grooming, litter maintenance, and playtime, as well as closely monitor their behavior and well-being.

Thanks to my background in Bioscience and my experience learning from veterinarian friends, I’m well-informed about basic animal health and can recognize early signs of stress or discomfort. While I’m not a certified vet, I can confidently manage routine needs - always with your pet’s safety as the top priority.

Most cats tend to like me, even those who are usually shy or cautious, but I’ve also met cats who’ve been through trauma, and I know that trust must be earned. That’s why before any booking, I always offer a free initial meeting with your cat. This allows me to see if your cat feels comfortable with me, and to learn more about their individual preferences: what they enjoy, what they dislike, their favorite games or toys, and what might scare or upset them.

Although I’ve often cared for the cats of my friends, this is my first time offering this service professionally, and I’m genuinely excited!

After all, while you and I can communicate easily in English, every cat speaks a language of their own — and I make it my job to understand it.
