Your Cat’s Second-Favorite Human

I’m a writer and visual artist, so I spend a lot of time paying attention to atmosphere, to small details, to moods. I’m calm by nature, creative, and very comfortable with quiet. I love reading and writing, being outdoors, camping and walking for hours… and then coming home and not leaving the house for a whole day. Or two. I think that’s very cat of me. Cats make sense to me. I love their independence, their sensitivity, the way they choose you rather than the other way around. My father-in-law once had eleven cats at the same time in the countryside, and I loved helping care for them. Each one completely different, each one with very clear boundaries and preferences. It taught me to observe first, approach gently, and respect their rhythm. I’m reliable, present, and genuinely happy to spend time in a cat’s world, whether that means play, affection, or simply quiet company.

I’d love to offer calm, attentive visits where your cat feels safe and undisturbed in their own space. I’m happy to adapt to their personality, whether playful and social or more reserved and independent. I’ll make sure they’re well fed, their space is clean, and that they receive the kind of interaction they actually enjoy. I’m also very comfortable giving medication if needed, sending thoughtful updates, photos, and little notes so you can truly relax while you’re away. I treat every home with the utmost respect and care and understand how personal it is to entrust someone with both your space and your animal.
